Corporate Matching Gifts

Many companies have matching gift programs which can double or triple the value of your gift. Visit Charity Navigator to see your company’s matching details or contact your company’s Human Resources Department to inquire if they have a matching gift program and whether MWS is eligible for a match from your company. We are listed on Charity Navigator as Marin Waldorf School Assn. Inc. if your company needs to verify our nonprofit status.  When you initiate your matching gift with your company, you must have already made your contribution to MWS. When we receive notification from your company, we verify that your gift was made and complete the necessary documentation from your company. MWS Tax ID is 94-2161819.

Gifts of Securities

Gifting appreciated stocks, bonds and mutual funds can be an easy and economical way to give to Marin Waldorf School and in many cases may offer a tax advantage. We recommend that you consult with your tax advisor to learn more about the advantages of gifting stocks, bonds and mutual funds. Memorial and Honorary Gifts

Gifts made in memory or in honor of a family member, faculty, staff, or friend are generous and thoughtful ways to remember a person’s life and accomplishments. A gift of any kind can be designated as an honorary or memorial gift.

In-Kind Gifts

Gifts-in-Kind include any tangible personal property which the Marin Waldorf School can use in its educational program, such as certain works of art, computer equipment, athletic equipment, or school supplies. Contact the Development Office at development@marinwaldorf.org to discuss your intended In-Kind gift.

Capital and Endowed Gifts

Capital gifts to Marin Waldorf School support new construction, and major facilities renovations. The school’s endowment supports student scholarships and tuition assistance and educational programs and initiatives. Such generosity allows for much needed campus improvements and enables Marin Waldorf School to continue offering programs that meet the changing needs of our students and faculty.
