Craft Project: Simple Window Light-Catchers
It is a Marin Waldorf School tradition to dress up the school’s many windows with folded paper stars, also called light-catchers, in celebration of the winter and spring seasons. Simple to make and elegant in any window, these seasonal decorations bring a touch of beauty and cheer to every space. All you need is paper and glue. We use semi-transparent kite paper to make ours glow with gentle winter light.
You can make window light-catchers of varying complexity, but we love to make this simple 8-pointed star with children.
